About Us

Erin Quinn (Owner, Groomer)

Erin and Ranger

Erin has been the owner of DeTails Pet Grooming in McCall, Idaho since 2019.  Erin has been a groomer since 2004.  She received her Bachelor of Animal Science with a minor in Business from the University of Rhode Island in May 2008.  She then worked as the Narragansett, Rhode Island and North Kingstown, Rhode Island Animal Control Officer shortly after pursuing her Master's Degree in Animal Science.

Erin has always had a niche with animals; working with them came easy to her.  Erin takes pride in her work and feels it is important for not only people, but most importantly their pets, to be comfortable with the grooming process and seeing the same faces for repeat visits over the years.  She is a passionate animal lover and is personally dedicated to her clients both 2 and 4-legged.

Erin specializes in hand scissoring, dematting, and overall conditioning of the dogs here at DeTails, McCall.

Whitney was born and raised in McCall and owns 4 dogs herself.  She recently joined our team to learn about her shared passion for grooming.  Whitney will be training under Erin's mentor-ship, learning  show grooming and hand-scissoring techniques.  She will also learn "pet" styles including tight clipper work.   Whitney is attentive to your dogs specific needs and handles our furry clients with the gentlest of care.  We are excited to invite Whitney to our team!  When not at DeTails, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family hiking.

Josh has been a part of the DeTails team since before we even opened to the public.  He helped construct the shop you see today and his love for animals in undeniable.  Josh joins us on an as-needed basis; he is extremely gentle and caring with our furry clients.  You can hear him speaking softly and kindly to them, helping them remain calm during the bathing and drying steps.  When Josh is not at DeTails, he spends his days off relaxing with his dog Lilly.
